I may be going to Greece and Italy this summer for a week. For some of the time, we would be sleeping on an over night ferry. I've never been on a ferry before, but I googled pictures of it and it was basically a huge room with a low ceiling and a huge mattress. It looks dangerous like your things cold get stolen in such a huge space or like you could get raped or kidnapped.
Do you have to sleep in the same area with a bunch of people you don't know?
How could you prevent things from being stolen?
What are some good and bad things about your experience?
Answer on What is it like sleeping on an over night ferry?
Trust me, no one will kidnap you. Get a cabin, and u will be sleeping in bunk beds. Some people don't want to spend the money, but if you're afraid of strangers, I suggest u do it. It is quiet, and peaceful, and u have your own toilet and shower. What else could u ask for??
